It began, with beer
That's plant food for the stupid root.
pushing a skin tuft up over the fence.
park patrol noticed
but a drunk foot is a quick foot.

a careless and clumsy foot

but quick.
Waking up with
bruised chest, unopened beercan inhand
on kitchen floor.

Crack that can, and finish it in the shower,
You've got to work in an hour.
Those idiots will be in worse shape
They've got years of heavy drinking and hard drugs under they're belts.

won't even notice the smell.
Deep fryers can be as sobering as anything.
That Sweet grease effluvium
coming to take us home.

Stacey how is NSCAD?? I havent even thought of contacting you over deviant. Anyway I just looked at some of your newer things on here and I favour them. If you forgot by now I'm in Lethbridge doing my BFA. I'm actually taking another sculpture course(..finally!) and I love it. I'm also volunteering at the University Gallery a couple of times each week which is very good as well. as for right now right now NOW I am drinking some white wine and just baked some cinnamon loaves and I may or may not watch "The Jabberwocky". I am however going on an NY city art trip at the end of the week. It should be an amazing time. Well Stacey, I hope things are smooth with you...actually maybe they are good if a little on edge..i don't know... but hopefully ill see you around someday :).
